EMMA!!!

I had so much fun sitting down and getting to know one our sixth graders-- Emma!!! If you don't know her already-- take this opportunity and get to know her a little bit better-- you just never know what you two might have in common!!!

EE: I love to read!

EE: Yes, I have one Dog named Coco!

EE: Um.....Fishy crackers, I guess!

ME: Oh yum! I love fishy crackers! I could snack on those all day! And, what's your favorite kind of pizza?

EE: I love Pepperoni Pizza!

ME: Cool! Do you have a favorite Bible verse that you could share with us?

EE: Well, I like the Fruit of the spirit verses, so Galatians 22- 23.

ME: Good verses-- challenging though! I know you've been studying the Fruits of the Spirit in Sixth Grade Small group so it's a good thing you like them!!!! Hey- what's your favorite restaurant?

EE: Olive Garden for sure!

ME: Mmmmm... how much do you love their breadsticks? SO GOOD!!! I love that you're a fan of Olive Garden! So, when you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

EE: I wanted to be a gymnastic person in the Olympics, I think!

ME: Somehow, I could see you as an Olympic Gymnast! What's under your bed right now?

EE: TONS and TONS of stuffed animals!

Emma-- I had so much fun getting to know you a little better! I kinda want to go to Olive Garden together now- and eat breadsticks together! Anyone else wanna come?!!! I hope everyone got to know Emma a little better! Make sure you say hi to her on Sunday and tell her that you saw her on the blog! It's so fun getting to know everyone a little better-- especially the new sixth graders! YAY!!!!

ELSA!

Hey! I hope you've got a second... scoot your chair a little closer-- I want to introduce you to one of the most fun and adorable 8th graders in our youth group! I know... scoot up!!! Get closer to the screen! This is ELSA JONAS and although she has some of the shiniest lips in our youth group, she is about way more than just lip gloss and Joe Jonas!

EJ: My middle name is Kate!

ME: Are you sure it isn't "Jonas"?!!! What's your favorite thing to do in your free time?

EJ: I like to read!

ME: Cool! Do you have any pets?

EJ: I have two dogs named Beau and Belle!

EJ: I love chocolate!

ME: Yum! Me too!!! What's your favorite kind of pizza?

EJ: Pepperoni Pizza! Yuuuuum!

EJ: I don't really have one favorite Bible verse!

ME: That makes sense! There are a lot of good ones! So, what's your favorite restaurant?

EJ: The Cheesecake factory!

ME: I love that place! So... tell me, when you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

EJ: I used to want to be a teacher now I want to be a pastry chef!!!

ME: Oh yum! Will you make me lots of yummy pastries? That would be such a fun job! Um, what is under your bed?

EJ: A few stuffed animals, pajamas and a pillow!

ME: Sounds like good stuff to be under a bed! What's your favorite thing about

Junior High?

EJ: The worship! I love to just be able to sing to God and tell Him that I love Him!!!!

I don't know what there is to NOT love about this awesome 8th grader in our youth group! Do you feel like you know her better? I do!!! Make sure you say hi on Sunday and tell Elsa that you had fun getting to know her on the blog! She's awesome and Joe doesn't know what he's missing by not knowing her!!!

GREG!

Greg is one of the most awesome seventh grade guys--EVER! Not only does he look like he belongs in a band but he was in a band this past Halloween-a member of the Beetles- if you missed him... he was awesome!!! I hope you have as much fun getting to know him better as I did. Greg's a great guy-- check out some stuff about him:

ME: What's your middle name?

GS: My middle name is Thomas!

ME: What's your favorite thing to do in your free time?

GS: My favorite thing to do is ride my bike!

ME: Do you have any pets?
GS: Yes i do, he is a dog and his name is Lucky!

ME: Nice! Lucky looks pretty dressed up in this picture! It was either your birthday or his!!! HA! What's your favorite snack?

GS: My favorite snack is parmesan cheese!

ME: Really? Just plain old Parmesan Cheese?! That's awesome- What's your favorite kind of pizza?

GS: My favorite pizza is pineapple!

ME: Mmmm... Pineapple with Parmesan cheese? Well, let's see here... Greg, do you have a favorite Bible Verse to share?

GS: Sure! My favorite bible verse is John 1:5--"This is the message we have heard from him and

declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all."

ME: Great verse! What is your favorite restaurant?

GS: My favorite restaurant is In-n-out!

ME: AHhhh!!! I love that place-- good choice! So, when you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

GS: I wanted to be a Firefighter!

ME: What is under your bed?

GS: The thing that is under my bed is my brother Joe!

ME: ha ha ha... that's funny- does your mom know he's under there? So, what’s your favorite thing about Junior high?

GS: I love all the things that happen in the junior high!

Greg- this was awesome to get to know you! I'm so excited that you love In-N-Out- that's a great place, buddy!!! I hope that everyone will give it up for Greg on Sunday- say hi to him, tell him you like his hat and that you want to hang out at In N Out with him- he's a cool guy! Greg- I'm so glad that you are in the Realm -- you're an awesome guy and I can't imagine our youth group without you in it! Thanks for giving us the chance to get to know you-- you're awesome!

JENNALEE!!!

OH YAY! This was fun! I got to learn a bunch about one of our fabulous eighth grade girls: JENNALEE! I think you will have fun learning more about her, too! Check out what I leaned:

ME: What's your middle name?

JJ: My middle name is Joy!

ME: Oh! I like that- so your initials are JJJ! CUTE! What's your favorite thing to do in your free time?

JJ: I love to sing and dance, and i try and write in my spare time! I love to write poetry!

ME: I never knew that! I want to hear your poetry someday, k? Let's see... do you have any pets?
JJ: Yes, two dogs!

ME: Oh fun! What's your favorite snack?

JJ: Watermellon, and chocolate covered strawberries!

ME: Oh yum! I totally loved chocolate covered strawberries, too! What's your favorite kind of pizza?
JJ: Pepperoni!!!!

ME: Do you have a favorite Bible Verse to share?
JJ: Sure! It's Proverbs 3:5-6 and it says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understandings; In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

ME: Mmmm... good verse! That's such a good reminder, huh? What is your favorite restaurant?
JJ: Olive Garden!

ME: YAY! Don't you love the breadsticks there? When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

JJ: I wanted to be a Broadway performer, and still do!

ME: I could see you doing that! Okay, what is under your bed?
JJ: Old homework, papers of no use! I just throw them all under there sometimes, and clean them out every once in a while!

ME: Last question for you, Jennalee: What’s your favorite thing about Junior high?

JJ: Well, I love all the friends I've grown so close to, I also got a lot closer to God these past two years. At school I love my special 8th grade performance choir that I am in.. (only 7 people made it this year) and at church i love wednesday nights and learning more and more about God every time :)

Okay- now that you know how cool she is-- and that she loves Olive Garden and is in a show choir... you gotta say hi to her... Wednesday night- it's your duty! Jennalee-- you're so AWESOME! Thanks for letting has have this opportunity to get to know you a little bit better! I'm so thankful that you are a part of our youth group! You make the Realm a super fun place to be! BA: My middle name is Scott!

ME: What's your favorite thing to do in your free time?

BA: I like to talk with friends or hang out with them.

ME: You sound very chill- cool! Do you have any pets?
BA: I have 2 dogs. One is a girl and her name is Roxy and the other is a boy named Ace. Does my older sister count as a pet?

ME: Ha! Um, no-- we'll just count Roxy and Ace! What's your favorite snack?

BA: Those stick pretzels!

ME: Oh yum! What's your favorite kind of pizza?
BA: I don't like pizza!

ME: You don't like pizza? Oh my! Well, do you have a favorite Bible Verse to share?

BA: I don't have a favorite Bilbe verse. There are alot that apply to my life though!

ME: Okay- that's cool. What is your favorite restaurant?
BA: This is tough! Ummm... gotta go with Applebees!

ME: Oh! Great choice- they have good food! When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

BA: I wanted to be, and still do want to be, a fighter pilot flyer! And in the words of my 3 year old self "so i can go blow up the bad guys"!

ME: AWESOME! That's cool that you still want to do that-- keep the dream alive! So, here's a good question: what is under your bed?

BA: Under my bed would be alot of dust and a few toys from back in the day!

ME: Good stuff to store under your bed. Well, it was such a privilege to get to know you, Brian! I hope that Fighter Pilot job seriously works out-- you'd be awesome at it!!! Thanks for giving us the chance to get to know you! You're a great guy and I'm so thankful you are in the Realm! You make our youth group a cool place to hang out!
