I finally had a chance to sit down and talk with Emily Allen! She's incredible! Not only is she smart, but she's fun and she is a great part of our youth group! I learned a lot about Emily that I didn't know... and, I think you'll think she is a pretty interesting girl, too! So, turn off that obnoxious TV program in the background, ask (nicely) for your little sister to move her viola practicing to another room and take some time to get to know

EMILY ALLEN!!!

Me: "Hi Emily! Thanks for sitting down and letting us get to know you! First off: what is your middle name?"
Emily: "My middle name is Anne!"

Me: "I love that name--especially with an "e"!!! Anyways- Emily Anne: what's your favorite thing to do in your free time?"
Emily: "My favorite thing to do in my free time is read!"

Me: "Nice! And, do you have any pets?"
Emily: "Yes! I have a cat named Sophia, and Nathan has one named Tiger!"

Me: "Nathan's your brother, right? Very appropriate that he would have a cat named Tiger! Okay- well, let's see: what's your favorite snack?"
Emily: "Oh! too hard!! Maybe popcorn."
Michele: "Yum! What's your favorite kind of pizza?"
Emily: "Pepperoni with sausage and olives!"

Michele: "Ah! You're making me hungry!!! What's your favorite restaurant?"

Emily: "Pita Jungle! I think it's only in Colorado."

Michele: "Do you have a favorite sport?"

Emily: "Actually, I have two! Volleyball and softball."
Michele: "Very cool! What's your favorite ride at DISNEYLAND?"

Emily: "Space Mountain!"

Michele: "AH! That's a great one!!! When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?"

Emily: "A farmer! hahaha!!"
Michele: "Ha ha ha ha ha! What's under your bed right now?"

Emily: "Random stuff that doesn't have another place!"

Michele: "Well, that's a good place for it! What's your favorite thing about Junior High?"
Emily: "The games we play on Wednesday night, and being with people in 7th and 8th grade that I wouldn't otherwise see!"
Michele: "Cool! And, do you have a favorite verse you want to share?"

Emily: "My favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11 that says, 'For I knwo the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'"

Emily- I'm so thankful you're a part of the Whittier Hills Junior High group! You make the REALM a fun place to be!!! :) Thanks for letting us get to know you!
